• Created the brand voice from scratch using a mix of competitive research, user testing, gut instinct, and a lot of riffing with the exec team. • Oversaw messaging for web, launch campaigns, paid performance ads, demo videos, app stores, and organic social. • Developed the messaging strategy for high-profile activations and partnerships, including events at Surf Lodge, NYC Pride, and the 2024 Paris Olympics. Big names, big moments, and a lot of last-minute copy changes.
COPY LEAD 🌱 Alma | May 2021 – October 2023 • Built out foundational copy resources: glossary, style guide, email playbooks, and a brand book that actually got used. • Grew the Creative team from one to seven members, setting up processes that made work smoother, including feedback norms, sprint cycles, and standardized briefs. • Played a crucial role in Series C and D funding announcements, helping shift Alma’s image from “The WeWork for therapists” to a “provider-first platform for therapists,” a rebrand that got nods from Forbes and Bloomberg. • Partnered with the Director of Brand to roll out Alma’s first major 360 campaign, Not Just Anyone.
BRAND MARKETING MANAGER 💾 Air | August 2019 – May 2021 • Led a full-site redesign, overseeing design and development across 25+ pages. • Launched a homepage that pulled in 15,000 views in the first month—directly resulting in 150+ new workspaces with 0% churn. • Created Thursday Drops, a weekly series that somehow made people care about a cloud storage startup.
